ARRRGH......

....!!! I'm reading posts and seeing all this activity happening back in Prov home and I'm stuck here in evergreen paradise. Damn!

No really. It's and Asian themed goth night and I'm not there. Murphy's Law. Go figure.

With that aside, life's good and pleasant and all I could ask for...which makes me think I should be making the most out of it, which I'm trying. But I'm afraid I'm not very successsful at being productive nowadays. A little bit of illustration, a little bit of gardening, a little bit of wedding planning, a little bit of independent study and finally a bit of socializing with old friends.

Which has made me realize: one can lose friends over time. I used to think that was impossible. That friendship bonds could prevail per secula seculorum, despite distances and petty surroundings. Not so.

There is also need (on both sides) of a strong spirit with integrity, the exercise of introspection and self examination, plus a good dose of humility.

I am lucky enough to have met people with all these characteristics....
